“Heroes” de David Bowie no se convirtió en un pelotazo nada más ser editada. Le costó tiempo, pero ahora es uno de esos clásicos que todo el mundo espera escuchar en una actuación de David Bowie. La relación entre “Heroes” y Alemania no está en su letra. En realidad, la canción versa sobre el sueño de convertirse, al menos por un día, en héroe. La relación con Alemania, y más concretamente, con Berlín, ya que fue allí, durante sus años de residencia en la capital germana, donde compuso la letra de “Heroes” reside en que fue allí fue donde escuchó una canción con el mismo título del grupo alemán Neu!.
